About Band
14corners are currently Stevie McEwan and Shane Simmons, both doing the songwriting and singing, playing guitar and adding other random other noise making implements to each others songs They're based somewhere between the rolling fields of Ayrshire and the mean streets of Glasgow
The first incarnation of 14corners split up in September 2005 after one EP and a load of speedy gigs.
But Shane and Stevie carried on armed with acoustic guitars as The Four Fifty's, recorded three self-released EP's and did a load of gigs around.
The pair eventually did a full circle, returning to their old name and recording their first album "Hymns In The Wind" and still living in the hope that they can find a drummer that can keep time and not have an over-fondness for cymbals and a bassist that can, well, play bass... but until then, Stuart, Stevie's cousin fills in for us on that (hehe)
Check out our influences, listen to our tracks and if you like us, become a fan, buy an album (they're only £3) and drop us a message so we know you're out there!
